What it does
Tap ↑ to send yourself a message now. Hold ↑ to send it to your future self — tonight, tomorrow, in a week, a month, a year, or any moment you pick. When the time comes, it comes back to your chat as a notification, in the voice of the person who wrote it: “It's me — from a month ago.”

Helpful to include: what you sent, when you expected it back, and the summary from Settings → hold the Version row → “Copy summary”. The summary holds only counts and states — never the text of a message.
Common questions
- Where are my messages? On your device, in the app's own storage. There is no server. A copy — with photos — can be saved from Settings and restored on another phone.
- A message didn't arrive as a notification. It is still in your chat, on time: the timeline never depends on notifications. Check that notifications are allowed for FroMe in iOS Settings, and that “On this device” is on in FroMe's settings.
- What does the notification say? Your own words, with a line from your past self — never anything else.
- Is there an account? No. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to log in to.
- What do the tips buy? Nothing. FroMe is free and stays free; a tip is a way to say thanks.
